Jones and Bones, a gift, gourmet and garden boutique based in Capitola, CA at the north end of Monterey Bay recently retrofited their store with LED lighting supplied from Energy Tech Solutions, LLC. 

Just by replacing their incandescent and CFL PAR lamps in the ceiling track lights with LED PAR lamps, they have realized tremendous savings in not only energy usage but in the expenditures for their daily operations.
 

"We have already benefited from a $48 drop on our utility bill in the first month and we haven't even installed all the lamps as of yet,." comments Jennifer Jones, owner of Jones and Bones. 

The even light distribution and consistent color temperature of 2700K brightened the store dramatically while still providing a warm, soft glow.

Another benefit of LED lighting is that the lamps dissipate less heat, so costs related to air conditioning the space are reduced as well.  And the simple fact that the rated life of the LED lamps is 50,000 hours which is 5 times longer than a traditional incandescent PAR lamp, means that less maintenance and hassle to replace burnt out lamps is required to sustain this initiative.
